Nuka World on Tour: Spin the Wheel Event Guide

Updated: Jul 29

**SUBJECT TO CHANGE PORTING TO LIVE SERVERS**

With thanks to Garust, Vicyorus, SugarBombs.Rads and Coffee888.

This guide is broken up into the following sections:

  • The event

  • Tasks

  • Rewards

Spin The Wheel is part of the Nuka World on Tour DLC that drops in December 2022.

This event will be permanently added to the Public Event list.

A notification will appear in the top left hand corner of your screen and in the World Activity tab in the bottom left hand corner of your screen.

No particular items or equipment are required for this event, but the following are recommended to make the event a little easier:

  • Berry Mentats to see the enemies through the tent

  • Glow Sight perk card under Perception

  • AP Regen, Agility and Max AP buffs

  • Themed Prefixes on weapons (particularly Troubleshooters, Hunters, and Mutant Slayers)

  • Turn off all unrelated event and quest map markers in your pip boy

This event may be difficult to solo if you do not have a combat-ready build.

If you run a Carnivore build or are collecting for BNB, then it is highly suggested that you equip the Butcher's Bounty perk card (under Perception) while this event is running.

The Event

To initiate the event, you have 4 mins to move and stand on the stage.

Once you reach the stage, Cappy and Bottle will tell you how to run the event.

Once they have finished telling you the rules of the game, you have 30 seconds to push the button.

The wheel will spin and land on either Red, Blue or Yellow.

The colour it lands on determines the task that you will need to complete within the time frame given.

Red (Scary)

If Cappy stops on Red, you need to protect the Red, Blue and Yellow Mascots for 60 seconds against one of the below "boss" waves.

Make sure to clear all the enemies in that round, as they will continue to attack the mascots even after the round has ended.

Note that the Mascots are not in direct line of sight with each other. This means that you won't be able to find a spot from which to cover all three, so you will need to run around the tent to defend them. Once a Mascot is broken, it cannot be repaired.

It is recommended that each team member should pick one mascot statue and protect it with their life, as the statues have a small health bar and take damage very quickly.

Grafton Monster x3

Super Mutant Behemoth x3

Blue (Fun)

If Cappy lands on Blue, you need to protect the Red, Blue and Yellow Mascots for 60 seconds against one of the below "mob" waves.

Yellow (Easy)

If Cappy stops on Yellow, then you will need to complete/survive one of the following tasks.

Explosive Friends

A herd of Radstags will spawn and run around the tent area. While their explosions will not harm you, they can do a lot of damage to the Mascots, so take them out before they get close.

Cappy Hunt

You will need to find and interact with 6 Golden Cappys in 20 seconds.

  • Gold Cappy #1

Inside the tent, on the West side, on the circus stairs.

  • Golden Cappy #2

Outside of the tent, on the North side. At the top of the scaffolding.

  • Golden Cappy #3

North side of the tent, next to the Yellow Mascot, on the circus stool against the tent.

  • Golden Cappy #4

On the North side of the tent, behind the 2 red circus cages, next to the cage on the truck bed.

  • Golden Cappy #5

On the West side of the tent, behind the Brahmin pen.

  • Golden Cappy #6

On the SW side of the tent, next to the Blue Mascot, on the counter, in the red Nuka Cola crate stall.

Bottle Pinata

You have 30 seconds to follow the map marker on your HUD and destroy the Vim Machine.

Imposter

You have 30 seconds to find the imposter Cappy and eject him from the circus seating.

The location of the imposter changes every event. The best way to locate the imposter is to listen for the laugh and look for the Cappy that is wearing glasses and a mustache.

Brahmin Tipping

Locate the brahmin in and around the tent. Interact with the brahmin to push them.

If you manage to tip all the brahmin, then you will recieve 100 bonus Nuka-Cade points.

Chicken Chasing

A bunch of chickens will start running around the tent. Interact with them to catch them.

Keep Moving

Small explosions will go off inside the tent, on and around the stage area. These explosions are harmless, and you don't need to do anything to avoid them.

Once each round is completed, you will need to go back to the stage and press the button to spin the wheel again.

To complete the event, you will need to complete 5 random rounds from the list above. The distribution is completely random; you could receive all Red, all Yellow, all Blue, or a mix. Once a specific task has popped up, it will not pop up again in the same event.

Remember that the Mascots are not in direct line of sight with each other. This means that you won't be able to find a spot from which to cover all three, so you will need to run around the tent to defend them. Once a Mascot is broken, it cannot be repaired.

Yellow Mascot

North side of the tent. Near the trailers.

Red Mascot

NW side of the tent. Near the circus cage trailers.

Blue Mascot

South side of the tent. Near the Nuka crate stalls.

Not harmless. I have been killed by one of these explosions myself, and I've seen other players go down every time this round comes up.
