There are three rare coloured baseball bats in Fallout 76.
Pink
Yellow
Indigo
Coloured baseball bats will always be modded when they spawn/drop ie bladed, spiked etc
Coloured baseball bats are tradeable and can be made legendary using legendary crafting.
They can not be scrapped to unlock the paints/colours and can only be found using the below methods.
The methods listed below are in order of the most efficient to the least efficient.
Method 1)
US Government Supply Drops
Holotapes can be found on enemies, more so ghouls, and in in-world containers
Load the holotape into the terminal found in Relay Towers on the map and follow the prompts.
Relay Tower Locations:
Relay Tower EM-B1-27
The Forest near Vault Tech Agricultural Research Centre
Relay Tower HG-B7-09
The Ash Heap near AVR Medical Centre
Relay Tower DP-B5-21
Savage Divide near Uncanny Caverns
Relay Tower EL-B1-02
Savage Divide near Johnson's Acre
Relay Tower HN-B1-12
The Forest near Horizon's rest and Greg's Mining Supplies
Relay Tower LW-B1-22
Savage Divide near Son's of Dane compound (One Violent Night)
These may not drop max level. Generally higher level regions will drop higher level bats.
If anyone else but yourself and your teammates open the Government Aid Drop, they will become wanted.
Your character can hold a max of 255 holotapes at a time however if you purchase additional US Government Supply holotapes from a player vendor for 1c+ then it will overwrite this number and allow you to carry more.
US Government Supply Drops can bug out after the second or third round on the same server and they will stop dropping. Generally server hop or leave the server and come back after the second round of relay towers.
Method 2)
Collision Course
Fast travel to Morgantown Airport and run through the gates at the very end of the tarmac to activate the event then follow the event prompts.
Note leaving and coming back to the server will not refresh what has spawned in the supply crate.
You can loot supply crates even if you weren’t in the event. It is worth swinging by this location on public servers in case someone has already done the event.
Method 3)
Supply Drops at random spawn locations
(Not to be confused with US Government Supply Drops.)
These will show up on the top right hand side of your screen as “Get the supply drop” when you go near a random encounter location. Follow the map marker and look for the red smoke.
Method 4)
Vendor Bots and Lite Allys
Raider Vendor Bots inventory at
Sutton Train Station
Sunnytop Train Station
Pleasant Valley Train Station
Pleasant Valley Ski Resort
R&G Train Station
Sunny Robots at Foundation
Cap'n Kidd bot at The Whitesprings Resort
Daphne Lite Ally
Note these may not be max level
Method 5)
Crowned Humanoid Enemies (enemies that have a crown next to their name) that use weapons such as
Super Mutants
Blood Eagles
Mole Miners
Scorched
Raiders
These will show in their inventory as modded baseball bats i.e. “spiked baseball bat” or “bladed baseball bat”. It will not always show the colour in the preview screen so it is advised to “Inspect” the item and check the colour.
Method 6)
Event Rewards
There is a small chance that you can have a rare coloured baseball bat drop as an event reward.
Method 7)
World Spawns
This is not an efficient way to farm coloured baseball bats.
Found baseball bats have a:
27.27% chance of being the natural material
12.12% chance to be cedar, oak, or mahogany,
6.06% chance to be black, blue, grey, or red, and a
2% chance to be All-Star, indigo, pink, or yellow.
Instead, cross reference a few locations from the list with locations on the map that you visit often. (For example Grafton for Operation Tidy or Vault 94 for Daily Ops) and then when you are in that location, stick your head over and check the baseball bat spawns.
If the baseball bat is not the colour you want, then don’t pick it up. If it spawns as a coloured baseball bat then you will see the colour without needing to pick it up.
Locations of world spawn baseball bats can be found here.
Hi, I'm Kat or Duchess
I'm an Australian data miner who writes farming, event, and food buff guides for Fallout 76.
I believe that all knowledge and information should be free, which is why my guides will never be locked behind a paywall. However, running a website and photo and video editing software does not come cheaply.
So, If you found my guides helpful, please consider buying me a ko-fi (coffee) using the link below.
All monies go towards the tools for writing my guides and maybe for an actual cup of coffee or 3 ;)
Alternatively, share my guides with your fellow vault dwellers and help them to survive the wasteland.
your information is top notch. Spend a lot of time reading and learning. Can't thank you enough!
It is Oct 2023 when I found your guide and I have already spent the last 5 years hunting these with great success. Your clear guide will help many others to enjoy the hunt. Thank you🔎
THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH! Angel of the Wasteland! You have helped in such a HUGE way!
