How to Use the Legendary Mod Crafting Component Calculator
Step 1: Select Item Type
Begin by selecting the type of item you want to craft a mod for. The options are:
- Armour
- Ranged Weapons
- Heavy Weapons
- Melee Weapons
Click on the drop-down menu under "Select Item" and choose the appropriate category.
Step 2: Choose the Specific Piece
Once you've selected the item type, the "Select Piece" drop-down menu will be enabled. Choose the specific piece you want to mod. For example:
- If you selected "Armour," you might choose "Left Arm" or "Power Armour Left Leg."
- If you selected "Weapons," pick the specific weapon like "Broadsider" or "The Fixer."
Step 3: Select the Prefix, Major, and Minor (Optional)
After choosing the piece, you can select one or more of the following:
- Prefix: This is a primary modifier for your item. Options will be specific to your selected item and piece.
- Major: This is a secondary modifier that adds another layer of enhancement.
- Minor: This is an additional modifier for further customisation.
You can select just one of these options, or all three, depending on what you need.
Step 4: View Components
Click on the "Show Components" button to display the list of components required to craft your selected mods. The list will show:
- The required components and their quantities.
- The number of Legendary Modules needed.
This information is displayed directly below the selection menus.
Step 5: Add to List (Optional)
If you plan to craft multiple mods and want to compile a list:
1. After selecting your item, piece, and modifiers, click "Add to List."
2. The components will be added to an accumulated list of required materials.
3. You can continue adding different items, pieces, and modifiers to the list. The calculator will combine duplicate components and update the total quantity needed.
When you're done, you can take a screenshot or snip the list for easy reference while farming.
Step 6: Utilise the Farming Guides
At the bottom of the calculator, you will find a "Farming Guides" section. This section provides links to guides for farming the necessary components.
Click the links to open the guide in a new tab for easy reference.
Additional Tips:
- Clearing the List: Use the "Clear List" button to remove all items from your accumulated list.
- Resetting Selections: Click "Reset All" to clear all current selections and start over.
