The Halloween Trick or Treat Challenge is a limited-time event in Fallout 76, running from October 22, 2024, to November 5, 2024, US EST.
Starting on October 22 at 12 PM US EST (Atom Shop changeover), you can claim the Crania Candy Bowl for free from the Atom Shop.
As the name suggests, this event requires you to visit other players' camps and collect mystery candy from their spooky candy bowls. Complete several challenges to unlock limited-time rewards.
If a player has an activated (full) spooky candy bowl in their camp, you will see an orange Jack-o’-lantern icon at the bottom of their camp’s marker.
Be considerate of your fellow Wastelanders by turning your camp icon ON during this event, but stay vigilant for trap camps.
FAQ
Can I complete these challenges in Power Armor?
Yes, you can. The requirement to wear a costume while taking candy from player camps has been removed.
Can we re-roll the challenges?
No.
What happens if I don't complete 3 out of 7 challenges each week?
You are out of luck and won't be able to unlock the end reward. Sorry.
Can I complete these challenges on a custom server?
No.
Can I complete these challenges on a private server by myself?
No, you cannot complete them alone. You'll need a second player to take candy from your bowl, so unless you have a second console or PC, it won't be possible.
Can I complete these challenges in one day?
No, you will need to log in daily to complete them.
