Fallout 76 Halloween Trick or Treat Challenge (Oct 22 – Nov 5, 2024, US EST)
The Halloween Trick or Treat Challenge is a special event in Fallout 76 running from October 22 to November 5, 2024.
Event Start:
Starting on October 22 at 12 PM US EST (Atom Shop reset), you can claim the Crania Candy Bowl for free from the Atom Shop.
How the Event Works:
Visit other players' camps, while wearing a costume, to collect candy from their spooky candy bowls and complete daily challenges.
Players with active candy bowls will have an orange Jack-o’-lantern icon on their camp marker.
Be sure to turn on your camp icon so others can find your candy bowl too.
Stay cautious of trap camps!
Rewards Breakdown:

AND

AND

Mothman Eyes Wall Light
To unlock the Mothman Eyes Wall Light, you must complete both sets of challenges:
Give Out Candy by having a player take candy from your candy bowl for three days in Week One and three days in Week Two.
AND
Trick or Treat by collecting candy from five different player camps for three days in Week One and three days in Week Two.
Daily Challenges & Rewards:
To complete the "Give Out Candy" challenge, place your free Crania, Spooky, or Creepy Candy Bowl in your CAMP. Make sure to fill it with Mystery Candy and place it in an easy-to-find spot, like on a table near your camp’s spawn point, so visitors can quickly access it. Once a player takes candy from your bowl, the challenge is complete for that day. You only need to do this once per day, and each successful day will earn you 250 Score, plus any active Score boosters.
To complete the "Trick or Treat" challenge, visit other players’ camps with an activated candy bowl, marked on the map by an orange Jack-o’-lantern icon. You need to collect candy from five different camps, while wearing a costume, to finish the challenge for the day. However, don’t stop at just five if you can. While it's easy to log off once you've completed your own candy collection, other players still need someone to visit their camp and take candy to complete their "Give Out Candy" challenge. If you come across another camp with a candy bowl nearby, grab some candy, even if you’ve already finished your daily challenge. This helps fellow players complete their tasks and ensures that everyone gets a chance at the rewards. Each successful day earns you 250 Score, along with any active Score boosters.
To unlock the weekly rewards, you’ll need to complete both the "Give Out Candy" and "Trick or Treat" challenges at least three times each week for two consecutive weeks.
Weekly Challenges & Rewards:
To complete the "Week 1" Challenge, you must give out candy from your C.A.M.P. on at least three different days. Once you’ve given out candy three times, you’ll be rewarded 1000 Score, plus any active boosters. You also need to trick-or-treat at other players’ candy bowls on at least three different days during the week. Once you visit five different candy bowls on three separate days, you’ll earn another 1000 Score, along with any active Score boosters.
To complete the "Week 2" Challenge, you will need to give out candy from your C.A.M.P. on three different days to be rewarded 1000 Score for the week. Additionally, trick-or-treating at five candy bowls on three different days will reward you with another 1000 Score, along with any active Score boosters.
Even after you’ve completed your 3 out of 7 tasks for each week, try to keep taking candy when you see a bowl. You never know if that player is still working on their 3 out of 7 "Give Out Candy" challenges, and your visit could help them finish theirs.
Additional Daily & Repeatable Challenges and Rewards:
Daily Spooky Scorched Challenge
To complete the daily challenge, you need to kill 5 Spooky Scorched enemies each day. This challenge rotates every three days, with a different reward depending on the day. The cycle continues to repeat (Day 1, Day 2, Day 3) throughout the event.
Day 1: Kill 5 Spooky Scorched to earn Lunchbox x1.
Day 2: Kill 5 Spooky Scorched to earn Repair Kit x1.
Day 3: Kill 5 Spooky Scorched to earn Perfect Bubblegum x3.
Weekly Spooky Scorched Challenge
In addition to the daily challenges, there is a repeatable weekly challenge. To complete it, you need to kill a total of 50 Spooky Scorched enemies during the week. Once you reach 50 kills, you’ll earn Carry Weight Booster x3. This challenge is repeatable, meaning you can continue killing Spooky Scorched beyond the 50 required. For example, if you kill 100 Spooky Scorched in one week, you’ll receive the reward twice. You can repeat this challenge as many times as you like, as long as you meet the 50-kill goal each time.
