Invaders from Beyond Event Guide
The Invaders from Beyond event starts on the hour, every hour, at one of the six locations listed below:
Wavy Willard’s Water Park (Toxic Valley)
Charleston Capitol Building (The Forest)
Garrahan Mining Headquarters (Ash Heap)
Monongah (Savage Divide)
Dyer Chemical (The Mire)
Sparse Sundew Grove (Cranberry Bog)
The event has been temporarily added to the Public Event list. A notification will appear in the top left corner, as well as in the World Activity tab in the bottom left corner of your screen.
To save time, use the World Activity tab to fast travel to the event rather than scanning the map to locate it.
Event Walkthrough
The Invaders from Beyond event is straightforward: defeat waves of aliens while staying alert to environmental hazards. Make sure to dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge.
Brainwave Siphon Attacks: During each phase, the brainwave siphons will release a deadly energy wave. Move away as soon as you see a yellow-green pulse building up.
Aerial Strikes: In the second and third phases, red aerial strikes will lock onto your character.
Step 1:
You have 6 minutes to interact with Brainwave Siphon Kappa to start the event. It will be marked on your HUD with a map marker.
Step 2:
Defeat 30 aliens to draw out Lieutenant Kappa. During this stage, regular aliens, cryo aliens, and toxic aliens (indicated by uniform color) will spawn. These enemies use energy, cryo, and toxic attacks, releasing clouds of hazards upon death.
Step 3:
After defeating the 30 aliens, Lieutenant Kappa will spawn. Eliminate him to proceed to the next step.
Step 4:
Destroy Brainwave Siphon Kappa.
Step 5:
Locate and interact with Brainwave Siphon Omega, marked on your HUD.
Step 6:
Defeat another 30 aliens to summon Captain Omega and Captain Alpha. Additional enemy types—alien drones and mecha aliens—will join the fight, using energy, cryo, and toxic attacks, with clouds of hazards upon death. Be mindful of red aerial strikes.
Step 7:
Once 30 aliens are defeated, Captain Omega and Captain Alpha will appear. Eliminate both to continue.
Step 8:
Destroy Brainwave Siphon Omega.
Step 9:
Locate and interact with Brainwave Siphon Zeta, using the map marker on your HUD.
Step 10:
Defeat 30 aliens to summon General Zeta. Regular aliens, cryo aliens, toxic aliens, alien drones, mecha aliens, and Flatwoods Monsters will spawn. Watch for red aerial strikes and the hazards from defeated aliens.
Step 11:
After eliminating 30 aliens, a 3-star Legendary General Zeta will appear. This boss always drops a 3-star Legendary item. Destroy General Zeta to proceed.
Step 12:
Destroy Brainwave Siphon Zeta.
Step 13:
Event Complete. Look up at the sky and use the wave or angry wave emote.
Note: Avoid looting immediately—additional enemies and red aerial strikes may appear after the event ends. Wait until the area is clear.
Step 14:
Don’t miss out on loot! Aliens drop plenty of circuits and waste antiseptic, so make sure to loot everything before leaving.
