Delbert's Cooking Notes Locations

Scroll down to the bottom of this guide for the interactive plan checklist.

There are 13 Delbert recipes to collect in total. Unlike other recipes in the game, which come in the familiar green books, these appear as single sheets of paper. They can be traded and sold through player vendors.

These recipes only spawn once per server, and your pick-up history affects their availability. If another player has already claimed the recipe on the server, it won’t appear for you. Likewise, you won’t be able to pick up multiple copies until you’ve cleared your pick-up history.

To see which Delbert recipes you’ve already learned, visit his mobile home in Flatwoods and use his terminal. It will display the recipes you’ve unlocked, which you can compare with the list below to identify the ones you’re still missing.

Recipe locations

Delbert's Appalachili

Found:

Flatwoods - Opposite the Flatwoods Tavern, on the front porch of the house with the "Supplies" Responders sign out the front.

Delbert's Bunless Cramburgers

Found:

The General's Steakhouse - Downstairs, in the kitchen, on the end of the bench on the right side of the kitchen.

Delbert's Company Tea

Found:

Superior Sunset Farm - In the basement of the house, pinned to the board on the left hand wall.

*Note: Check the mirror in the kitchen, above the sink for a chance to find the Healing Salve Cranberry Bog plan.

Delbert's Corn Pone

Found:

Tyler County Fairgrounds - In the Funnel Fun stand, on the shelf against the back wall.

Delbert's Delicious Deer Skins

*Fried Deerskins is not buffed by Backwoodsman #6 as it is missing the keyword "cooked" in the game files.

Found:

Wavy Willard's Water Park - As you enter via the main entry, on your left, in one of the small buildings. You will need lock pick perk cards to unlock the door on the side to gain access.

Delbert's Granny's Sweet Tea

*Granny's tea is not buffed by the Carnivore or Herbivore mutation, Strange in Numbers perk card or magazines, as it is missing the keyword "type food healing" in the game files.

Found:

Mac's Farm - Inside the house, on the end table on the right hand side, as you walk in the front door.

Delbert's Mountain Hocks

Found:

Beckwith Farm - Near the lake that is at the back of the property. On one of the cinder blocks around the fire pit.

Delbert's Mud Cookie

AP Refill items can not be buffed by mutations, SIN or magazines but they do stack on top of each other providing they are the same food buff.

Found:

Aaronholt Homestead - On the kitchen bench, in the first house on the left.

Delbert's Pothole Potpie

Found:

The Retreat - In the building directly in front of you at the spawn in location, with the Power Armour Station out the front. Follow the stairs all the way to the top and the recipe is on the desk on the left, as you walk in the door.

Delbert's Sunshine Oil

*Sunshine Oil is not buffed by the Carnivore or Herbivore mutation, Strange in Numbers perk card or magazines, as it is missing the keyword "type food healing" in the game files.

The damage resistance buff only works for those running Carnivore builds. For Herbivores it will give 0 damage resist.

AP Refill items can not be buffed by mutations, SIN or magazines but they do stack on top of each other providing they are the same food buff.

Found:

Welsh - Head over to the Post Office. Not the house behind the post office but the next one. Inside on the kitchen bench on the first floor.

Delbert's Sweet Labrador Tea

*Note: Sweet Labrador Tea is a component of Company Tea. If you are using this guide to find the Company Tea Recipe then make sure you swing past and grab this recipe as well.

Make sure to check the mirror above the sink, in the room with the bath tub full of dirty dishes, for a chance to find the Healing Salve Mire plan.

Delbert's Tato Salad Surprise

Found:

Silva Homestead - Inside the main house, on the kitchen bench.

Delbert's Traditional Chitlins

There are another 4 sheet paper recipes out in the wild that, while not written by Delbert, I thought I would include.

Make sure to check the mirror above the sink, in the room with the bath tub full of dirty dishes, for a chance to find the Healing Salve Mire plan.

Headhunter's Headcheese

Found:

Bloody Frank's - Upstairs, in the kitchen with the flamer trap. On the metal shelf.

Fine Radstag Redemption

Found:

Bloody Frank's - Upstairs, in the mobile home/trailer a few steps down from the Headhunter's Headcheese recipe.

Brahmin Noodle Soup

*Note: This is not an actual recipe. It is a note that also spawns in this location.

Bloody Frank's - Upstairs, in the main kitchen, on the table closest to the stoves.

Lowcountry Mirelurk Boil

Found:

Bloody Frank's - Head up to the top of the building where the sleeping quarters are. This recipe is on an end table near a set of bunk beds.
