Camp Pets cannot be built inside of a Shelter.

Your pet will gift you a Legendary Weapon every 2 hours.
100% chance for a 1-star Legendary Ranged or Melee Weapon
20% chance for a 2-star Legendary Ranged or Melee Weapon
10% chance for a 3-star Legendary Ranged or Melee Weapon
The gift timer counts down from 2 hours. Your pet will give you the item when it reaches 0 and you’re in your CAMP. If the timer hits 0 but you’re not in your CAMP, the countdown pauses until you return. This means if you’re away for 3 hours after the timer hits 0, it won’t start the next countdown until you get back.
Note: Gifts don’t stack. Waiting 4 hours won’t get you two gifts; you’ll only receive one gift when you return.
When the game decides which weapon you’ll receive, it checks for the highest possible rank first:
Rank 3 (3-star weapon) – 10% chance.
Rank 2 (2-star weapon) – 20% chance if Rank 3 is not awarded.
Rank 1 (1-star weapon) – 100% chance if neither Rank 3 nor Rank 2 is awarded.
