A Flamingo Unit (FU) is a fun way to measure the camp budget cost of items in Fallout 76. Every item you place has an FU cost, and your CAMP budget is capped at 500 FU. While most items are 1 FU, some can cost significantly more, which quickly adds up.

To figure out how much an item costs in FUs, players place 500 lawn flamingos in their camp and delete them one by one until they can place the item they want. The number of flamingos removed equals the FU cost of the item. This system helps players understand how much space different items take up in their camp budget.
